"Jamie is such a great driving instructor. At all times I felt safe and relaxed on the road, thanks to Jamie’s naturally calmed demeanour, as well as being really patient and understanding when I inevitably made mistakes.

Overall Jamie’s teaching is quite methodical. Starting with simple manoeuvres, building up until you’re confident to drive around on the road, which felt very natural to me, and really built up my confidence.

Also, when driving, Jamie is really good at spotting straightaway what are you struggling with. During a lesson he’ll stop you, discuss what is that you’re struggling with, and spend 10-15min doing drills to iron out whatever your issue is, setting you up for success for the rest of the lesson. It really did feel like every single lesson I was making very good progress.

Finally, the last 3-4 lessons we spent them doing mock tests, and smoothing my driving, which again, really set me up for success on my test. All my reversing manoeuvres were well rehearsed and my driving was very control and I felt very confident.

I also felt like after getting some driving experience, doing double lessons (2h + 2h) with Jamie was a great use of your time, if you’re able to squeeze them in your calendar, as I felt I was able to consistently improve throughout the whole lesson. We would have a break of course, but for those that want to squeeze more driving hours into their week, I highly recommend it. At no point I felt overwhelmed by too much information. Although I’d suggest doing this after 15-20h of driving as before that (as I found out) can be very tiring.

Finally, Jamie has always a positive mindset, makes you look forward to the lessons and also for me, the test.
